Academy Storage, built in 1991, in the enchanted city of Santa Fe, New Mexico, was constructed with the intention of being the first indoor, “climate controlled” facility.   There is a large two-story building that houses only 5×5 and 5×10 units.  The building itself is a stucco, wood framed, highly insulated building. Each 5×5 and 5×10 unit is individually insulated, sheet rocked, and taped top to bottom. There are no gaps between any of the units.  Academy Storage also offers drive up, masonry and steel constructed, ground floor units ranging from 4×9 to 10×30 while providing limited car garage lockers.

Many of the current clients of Academy Storage have become a part of the Academy Storage family and it is not unusual to find people hanging out in the office catching up with stories about family, trips, work, or just plain politics – YIKES!  It is a unique business that houses fellow Santa Feans, newbies from every corner of the globe including Dubai, Africa, to Canada.   It is not unusual at all to find Academy Storage client’s lunching together at local dives or talking about business at quaint places in wonderful Santa Fe.
